How do you price something that has no market reference yet?
When you launch a new product, enter a new market, or bring an innovative solution to customers, pricing is rarely as simple as looking at competitors and adding a margin.
This session with Roland Umlauft explores the strategic thinking behind pricing innovation and the questions C-Level Execs and Heads of Product should be asking before putting a price on something genuinely new.
This session is for you if:
You are a C-Level Exec or Head of Product launching a new or innovative product
You are entering a market/launching a new product or service where you don't yet have a clear pricing reference
You are working out how to translate the value of a new offering into a pricing strategy
You want to avoid simply copying existing market prices
What we'll cover
Roland will share his experience and perspectives on pricing strategy for innovation, including how to approach pricing when the product, market or customer value proposition is still being defined.
This is a lecture format, rather than a workshop or roundtable, designed to give you a structured introduction to the topic and a solid framework for thinking about your own pricing challenge.
Why we're testing this
We're testing the level of interest in pricing content and learning what would be most valuable to the C-Suites LAB community. Depending on the demand and the needs that emerge, this could lead to further learning sessions, a dedicated course, or more focused 1:1 advisory support.
Bring your curiosity, and your pricing questions.
