About Event

Can you seal what an agent designed?

AI agents can now draft calcs, coordinate models, and produce full MEP packages in hours. The rules on responsible charge and supervision were written for human subordinates. So what does supervising the work mean now, and who answers for it when an agent did the drafting?

This is a live, moderated debate between licensed professionals who disagree. Two panelists lean toward faster adoption of AI in licensed practice, and two lean conservative. Nick Heim moderates. No personal attacks. We argue the ideas, the codes, and the evidence.

Format (60 minutes)

  • Opening statements: each panelist gets 2 minutes

  • Moderated rounds on prepared questions: what supervision and responsible charge mean today, liability and insurance, and where the line should be

  • Audience Q&A: questions submitted at registration and in the live chat, picked by the moderator

  • Closing: 1 minute from each panelist

Ask your question when you register. The best ones go to the panel.

Want a seat on the panel? Answer the panelist question on the registration form and we'll reach out.

Hosted by Kenny Shultz, PE (PermitZIP). Moderated by Nick Heim.
