Your BFCM Data Is Worth More This Year
The BFCM postmortem is supposed to happen every year, and every year it’s late, thin, or mostly a revenue number, because nobody has time in December to go through the exports, the support tickets, and a week of Slack threads. This year AI can read all of it, which makes the data you’re about to collect worth a lot more than it was last year.
We’ll work through what to do with it once the sale is over. One Slack channel that fills itself with the numbers, where people reply with what changed and why, so AI can draft each team’s version of what worked. The postmortem on three questions: did it make money, what happened and why, and will the sale’s new customers come back. Then one page for your CMO or VP of Ecommerce, written the week after, and what it means for next year. We’ll also cover the four things worth setting up now, while there’s still time.
You’ll leave with a plan for what happens to your BFCM data after the sale, and the short list of what to set up before it starts.
