This is the fourth AI Socratic event in Turin 🇮🇹
The AI Aperitivo — Wave Edition is a special edition of our high-signal, low-noise symposium, bringing together the people shaping AI ecosystem — from builders, engineers and researchers to founders, investors, VC partners and business leaders.
This edition expands the usual AI Aperitivo circle, creating a space where technical depth meets entrepreneurship, investment, and real-world adoption of AI.
We run Socratic dialogues around AI, diving into research papers, SLM fine-tuning, agentic harnesses, graph engineering, recursive self-improvement, and, from time to time, AGI alignment, philosophy, geopolitics, and beyond.
Our Socratic dialogues are structured by the AI Socratic blog posts, focusing on the latest in AI.
To keep discussions meaningful and low-noise, every application is carefully reviewed.

Socratic Conversations
45 minutes to discussing the latest in AI from the following blog post
Everyone is encouraged to contribute. Federico and Gianvito moderate to keep the conversation flowing, ensuring everyone has a chance to speak.
AI Symposium
Participants are divided into groups of 5 or 6 to discuss various topics in a more informal setting.
Code of Conduct
AI Socratic is built on the premise that better ideas come from more perspectives. This Code of Conduct exists to make that real, not aspirational.
Who this is for:
Everyone: attendees, speakers, organisers, and guests. No exceptions.
What we expect:
Be curious, not combative. Challenge ideas, not people. The Socratic method works because it assumes good faith on all sides.
Make room. If you tend to speak a lot, listen more. If you see someone being talked over, say something.
Respect identities and expertise. Don't make assumptions about what someone knows (or doesn't) based on how they look, their accent, or their background.
No unsolicited advice or feedback. If someone didn't ask for your opinion on their work, keep it.
What we won't tolerate:
Harassment of any kind: including comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, or age. This applies to talks, conversations, online channels, and side events.
Specifically off-limits: sexualised language or imagery, deliberate intimidation, interrupting or talking over speakers, and taking photos or recording without consent.
If something happens:
Tell an organiser directly, or send an email. Reports are handled confidentially.
Anyone asked to stop a behaviour is expected to do so immediately. Persistent violations result in removal from the event and future editions.
We follow up on every report.
The short version:
Treat people the way you'd want to be treated if you were the only person who didn't look like everyone else, or the only person defending an opinion in the room.
