This is what playwright Liba Vanyberg addresses in her plays, mixing modern life and ancient Jewish texts, breathing new life into old tales.

Our Guest Speaker:
Liba Vaynberg is an actor, playwright, and essayist whose work reimagines canonical texts by centering contemporary questions of gender, progress, and God (or lack thereof). The daughter of Ukrainian and Azeri Jewish refugees, she studied Molecular Biology at Yale before receiving her MFA at Columbia. She is also the co-founder of ANNA & KITTY, INC., a non-profit devoted to female leadership in and through the arts.
Your Hosts:
Stephen Silva - A convert to Judaism from Catholicism who studies Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism. He is a Community Manager of Lab/Shul an experimental Synagogue.
Mark Gilman - The founder of On The Spiritual Spectrum, he is a "Multifaith-Jew" with experience in several spiritual traditions. He has led many events for interfaith discussion and spiritual exploration.
