Challenge
Solve one Detroit problem: health access, environment, neighborhood services, economic mobility, or civic data.
Who
Anyone 18+. Builders, designers, clinicians, data folks, public servants, students. Solo or team. Teams can be formed on-site. First-timers welcome.
Bring
Laptop, charger, and photo ID. Refreshments provided. Registration required.
Two ways to build
Any project: build with Lovable. No coding needed. 100 free Pro credits each, code shared on site.
MLH Open-Source AI Prize: open-source or open-weight AI at the core, public GitHub repo, open-source license. Winning team gets DEV badges.
MLH rules apply only to the MLH prize. Every project can demo. More prizes to be announced.
