Creating the Climate Future We Want: Art, Hope, and Community-Led Stewardship

​It’s going to be a day filled with joy and hope as we celebrate the importance of community-led stewardship and art in creating the climate future we want. Join us on Kumeyaay lands, at the beautiful Sweetwater Marsh, on October 3, 2026 to celebrate the successes of community-led conservation and restoration efforts from the Climate Science Alliance Giving Cycle and immerse yourself in the artwork created by the 2026 Plurinational Climate Art Fellows.

​During the event you’ll have the opportunity to wander the marsh trails while viewing the Hear Our Names interpretive signs, experience artwork inspired by climate hope, and hear directly from awardees leading community stewardship efforts throughout Southern California. We invite you to come and be inspired by what is possible when we center community, art, and collaboration.
