Black Readers Meetup
Connect with other Black readers in NYC! Join us at Liz’s Book Bar—a cozy, Black woman-owned reading lounge—for an intimate evening of books, conversation, and community.
Bring a book by a Black author or a read that’s shaped your understanding of Black identity, joy, love, or liberation. We’ll swap recs, share reflections, and meet fellow Black readers building their reading lives with depth and intention.
This gathering is held in partnership with E.N.D. a lifestyle platform committed to celebrating Black rest, imagination, and belonging.
Facilitator Xenia Holmes: Reader first, community builder always. With 7+ years in education and design, Xenia blends creativity with social impact. As a Direct of Restorative Practices at KIPP NYC, she supports the academic and emotional growth of 300+ young people—and brings that same care to her facilitation style. She creates spaces rooted in curiosity, connection, and brave conversation.
🎟️Ticket includes light refreshments and guided programming

We love capturing the magic of our gatherings. By attending, you consent to being photographed for use on Lit Club’s platforms. If you prefer not to be included, just let me know when you arrive—I’ve got you.
