​While many startups are creating climate value, only a limited number understand how these outcomes can translate into carbon finance opportunities, climate-finance mechanisms, or investment pathways. Most founders lack the technical understanding, data systems, and strategic guidance needed to assess whether carbon markets are relevant to their business models.

​The Carbon Readiness Lab is designed as part of post accelerator activities to help GCIP Nigeria alumni understand their position within the carbon market landscape and identify practical pathways for future participation.
