​1) AWS Resilience Engineering
Speaker: George Palangattil Koshy, CTO Engineer at Kyndryl
Resilient systems are not proven by architecture diagrams alone. In this session, AWS Ambassador and AWS Community Builder George Palangattil Koshy explores how organizations can build confidence in their cloud workloads through resilience engineering. Learn how to define meaningful RTO/RPO targets, assess workloads using AWS Resilience Hub, and validate recovery mechanisms with AWS Fault Injection Service (FIS). Through practical frameworks, disaster recovery patterns, chaos engineering guardrails, and a live demonstration, attendees will discover how to safely test failure scenarios, improve operational readiness, and transform resilience from a design assumption into measurable, evidence-based engineering practice

​2) S3Tables
Speaker: Gabriel Pajunk, Data Engineer at Datamole
What does it really take to make object storage behave like a database? In this talk, we’ll build that answer from first principles together, discovering snapshots, manifests, transactions, schema evolution, and concurrency along the way, and see how those ideas became Apache Iceberg and, eventually, S3 Tables and what those choices tell us about how S3 Tables should actually be used.
By the end, S3 Tables should stop looking like another AWS feature and start looking like the inevitable result of a few surprisingly simple design decisions.
