GLAAD's news team joins Project C for a briefing and story pitch session on the LGBTQ-related issues and narratives of the 2026 midterms, with a look ahead to 2028.

Barbara Simon, GLAAD's Senior Director of News and Campaigns, and Darian Aaron, Senior Director of Local News, U.S. South, will walk through terminology, best practices and GLAAD resources for covering LGBTQ people in politics and beyond, including the GLAAD Media Reference Guide and the ALERT Desk, GLAAD's tracker of anti-LGBTQ extremism.

Part of the hour is a pitch session, so come with story ideas you're working on.
