Nature Journaling Workshop
This Valentine's month, write a love letter to nature through a gentle introduction to nature journaling.
Come put your screens down and look at the lungs of the city with fresh eyes. Join us in slowing down, paying attention, and reclaiming our sense of belonging - to nature, to the city - in community.
But first! What is nature journaling?
Nature journaling can be many things - but here, we refer to the practice of noticing nature, documenting what we observe, and learning to wonder. Paying attention, we think, is the first act of love - and how we honor the nature that persists in the city.
What we'll do
We start at Cubbon Park (exact location shared after confirmation) where we will begin our own nature journals - a pocket-sized sketchbook that becomes our playground for the day - with guided exercises.
Post the workshop, we will head to a South Indian breakfast - the ultimate Bengaluru good-time, conversation over masala dose & coffee ;)
Who this is for
Everyone who wants to deepen your own connection with nature! Families, children, students, friends, artists and non-artists (although, we think every being is arguably an artist!)
This workshop is for us to take a moment in a busy week to slow down and reclaim our relationship with the nature that we may often walk past in our daily lives.
What you get
A nature journaling kit
A scrumptious breakfast at a local thindi joint
