​Join Health Tech PHL and the Health Design Lab for part 3 of our Health in Action conversation series.
In light of spring, we are exploring the vital connection between land, environmental sovereignty, and community wellbeing.

​While healthcare navigation is often complex at a baseline, true health begins with the foundational resources that sustain us. We’ll be learning from Bartram’s Garden, a 50-acre public park and National Historic Landmark in Southwest Philadelphia that offers everyone a way to build a relationship with nature.

​Executive Director Maitreyi Roy will discuss how the Garden’s work—everything from free outdoor recreation to paid youth workforce development, an African Diaspora–focused crop farm to regular environmental monitoring-serves as a model for reconnecting with the earth to build healthier communities.
