About Event

Night Hack is back at Founders, Inc. on October 30.

Come make something you want to show off. A robot. An agent. A game. That side project you can't stop thinking about.

An evening to build. Then show us what works.

Last time: nearly 1,000 signups and 120+ projects submitted in five hours.

The night

  • 4:00pm: Check-in + team formation

  • 4:15pm: Kickoff + partner intros, then hacking

  • Around 6:00pm: Pizza

  • 9:00pm: Submissions due

  • Around 10:00pm: Top 7 live demos

  • 10:30pm: Awards

  • 11:00pm: Event wraps; everyone out

Please arrive on time for kickoff. No re-entry after 10pm.

Prizes

The top three teams receive:

  • Cash prizes

  • Anthropic API credits: $5,000 for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd and $2,000 for 3rd

  • Three months of Firecrawl Growth, including 500,000 credits per month

  • Up to $500 in HeyPCB fabrication per team, including shipping

First place also receives a Founders, Inc. guest pass.

Photon award: $1,000 — Best iMessage Agent You Can Text

A separate prize for a working AI agent people can actually text on iMessage. Include reachable iMessage number/handle in your submission so it can be tested. SMS-only projects do not qualify.

Builder perks

Checked-in builders can access partner offers, including:

  • Anthropic: $50 in API credits, limited to 200 redemptions

  • Firecrawl: 10,000 credits, subject to eligibility

  • Photon: $100 in Photon 2.0 signup credits

  • HeyPCB: One month of Starter, with 100 attendee seats available

  • Bolt: A Night Hack offer

  • Mercury: Founder offers with their own eligibility requirements

Redemption instructions will be shared via Luma after check-in. An approved registration alone does not qualify for the checked-in builder offers.

Our partners

Firecrawl helps AI applications search, crawl and extract useful data from the web.

Bolt helps you build apps and websites by chatting with AI.

Convex brings your app’s backend together with a realtime database and server functions.

Anthropic, the team behind Claude, is returning with API credits for builders and prize credits for the top three teams.

Photon helps you build AI agents people can text on iMessage. They’re supporting builders with credits and the $1,000 Best iMessage Agent You Can Text prize.

Mercury helps founders manage business banking and company finances, from accounts and cards to payments and spend management.

HeyPCB helps builders design hardware with AI, from schematics and circuit boards to mechanical enclosures. They’re supporting Night Hack with builder access, onsite help and fabrication support for the top three.

Nebula brings your team and AI agents into one shared workspace to research, build and get projects done together.

What to build

Start something new or add a substantial capability to an existing project. Existing code, models and hardware are welcome. Clearly disclose what existed before kickoff; judges evaluate the work completed during the sprint.

Come solo or in teams of up to four. Every teammate must apply individually and receive approval.

Submissions + demos

We’ll share the submission form through Luma and in the room.

Submit one entry per team, including your teammates, captain contact details, tools used, what you built tonight and a working demo with any access instructions.

Software demos cannot be localhost-only. Test your link on another device before submitting.

The Top Teams will present live. Be ready when called: 90 seconds per demo, with a two-minute hard stop. No slides.

Bringing hardware?

Bring your complete setup, tools, cables, chargers and a software or simulation fallback.

We cannot provide hardware or electronics-lab access, including soldering, fabrication and 3D printing. Bringing your own printer requires approval.

Everyone should bring a laptop and charger. Take all belongings and hardware with you when you leave.

Photography and recording may take place. Builders under 18 need parent or guardian permission.

Apply for a builder spot above. Come ready to ship.
