✩₊°.⋆ 15 Years of Playable Culture ⋆⁺₊✧
15 years of the MADE! Come celebrate with us.
Join us for a night of games, art, food, drinks, and community as we celebrate 15 years of playable culture in Oakland!
The MADE is a fully interactive museum where game history stays playable, kids learn to make games for free, and creatives find community. We curate contemporary exhibits celebrating the stories of indie creators, encourage playful experimentation with art and hardware, and bring people together to learn, make, and imagine the future of play.
We’ll have experimental games and alternative controllers like Scrapeboard and Octopad, and special one-night-only exhibits of computing history including the NeXTstation and SGI O2.
La Guerrera’s will be slinging tacos out front! And at 8 PM, we’re turning down the lights and turning up the party with projection art and music.
Saturday, November 7 · 5–9 PM
All proceeds support the MADE, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit preserving playable game history, inspiring the next generation of creators, and building community around play in Oakland.
