Gathering: 1:30 PM
Livestream*: 2:00 PM
Wrapping: 3:30 PM
*You are all welcome to join us live at Penny Bridge! We’ll have hot ginger tea and nettle cacao cakes available.
The performance will include sound vibration, and Butoh puppetry movement. Due to the risk to electronic equipment, there will be no live musical accompaniment by Cal Fish.
An ADA-accessible portable toilet is available on the premises.

Dear brilliant souls and esteemed guests,
The production team has been in conversation all morning about weekend plans, and this is the update:
1. We are postponing the full experience to a rain date later this Fall.
New date will be announced by Monday.
2. If it is safe to do so, the Butoh-puppetry artists (without music & sound) will still perform the heart of the work tomorrow (Saturday). It will be live-streamed on the SOIL:FIELD of AWARENESS Instagram account.
3. The time is dependent on weather -- it may be late morning or early afternoon. An email will be sent if/when we go live.
4. While we are delaying the full production, you can read about all of the components of the experience here. And get excited for when the full thing happens :)
5. YOU ARE INVITED to help us finish creating the Soil Ritual Discs, at Marina's studio in Long Island City, today from 4p - 8:30pm. Reply to this email for the exact address. If you are wondering "what are the Soil Ritual Discs?" then you should read about all of the components of the experience here ;)
Finally, I want to say that in Butoh, we dance for the earth, for Spirit, for ourselves, and for others as witness.
So if we can do so safely tomorrow, we will keep true to the heart of the work, which is a deep conversation and ritual with the Land.
