TERMINAL7: Building Rhythm Games
TERMINAL7: Building Rhythm Games from the Terminal with Cline
TERMINAL7 is a hands-on session where we’ll experiment with building arcade-style rhythm games directly from the command line using Cline.
Rather than working inside a traditional game engine, we’ll stay in the terminal and move quickly — generating gameplay loops, timing systems, scoring logic, and simple reactive visuals. The goal is to explore how terminal-based workflows and AI tools can speed up early game prototyping.
If you’re interested in creative coding, game systems, or new ways of building software, this session is meant to be a place to experiment and compare approaches.
Bring a laptop if you’d like to follow along.
This workshop takes place during Funding the Commons SF at Frontier Tower.
