FtC Town Hall: Octant v2 & the Anatomy of a Funded Project

​Octant has become one of the most consistent funders of public goods in the Ethereum ecosystem, running more than a dozen funding epochs and reviewing thousands of applications along the way.

​Now they've launched v2, which lets people contribute ETH directly to public goods rather than locking tokens months in advance. Nico Gallardo, who leads community at Octant, will walk us through what's changed and how it works.

​Mashal Waqar has spent years close to those funding decisions, and she joins us for a fireside on the patterns that show up again and again across mechanisms and funding rounds. Which projects get funded, which get passed over, and what founders tend to get wrong before they hit submit.
