The Modern Village
An Intergenerational Speed Friending & Salon Experience
On Friendship, Wisdom & Meaningful Connection

An Evening to Rebuild What Matters

You’re warmly invited to a thoughtful, quietly refined gathering during Climate Week—centered around a simple question:

What would it look like to rebuild the modern village?

In a time of rapid change and increasing independence, many spaces for meaningful connection and shared perspective have quietly faded. This evening brings together seasoned professionals and younger, thoughtful individuals for genuine, engaging conversation across generations—grounded in community, continuity, and the future we’re collectively shaping.

Through lightly guided “speed friending” rounds and salon-style exchanges, connection is designed to feel natural, warm, and easy.

Think:
less noise
less small talk
more substance
more genuine connection

We are especially welcoming seasoned individuals with perspective to share—those who value thoughtful conversation and meaningful exchange. We are also inviting a small number who may be open to occasional, paid speaking or mentorship opportunities within this community.

Alongside a select group of younger professionals—builders, thinkers, and climate-conscious individuals—seeking depth, perspective, and real human connection.

You may leave with a meaningful conversation, a new connection, or simply the quiet satisfaction of time well spent.
