ALTSCHOOL OPEN HOUSE,LAGOS
The AltSchool Open House is a closed-door, in-person session at our Lagos office for prospective learners who are close to a decision on the Karatu 2026 cohort.
We built the day around the questions that don't get answered well on Instagram, the ones about commitment, fit, payment, and what actually happens after you apply.
We cap the room at 200. We review every registration. Seats are not guaranteed.
When and where
JUNE 27TH · 12PM WAT
Applications for the Karatu 2026 cohort close July 2026. This is the last Open House before then.
Who this is for
You should be in the room if you're:
Considering applying for a Diploma, Nano-Diploma, or Masterclass in 2026
Comparing AltSchool with other paths and want to make the call faster
Already started an application but haven't completed it
Looking for clarity on which program actually fits your career
This isn't for people just discovering AltSchool. If that's where you're at, start with our website first.
What you get inside the room
Career Clarity Session — A direct walkthrough of which program fits which career outcome. No marketing language. Real numbers, real timelines.
Live Conversations with Alumni — Sit with people who started where you are now. Ask them anything. Salary, struggle, what they'd do differently. Off-script.
Breakout Rooms by Program — Pick your school. Software Engineering, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, Product Design, Product Management, or Digital Marketing & Sales. Each room runs with the program lead and a current learner.
Networking with Mentors and Business Managers — One-on-one access to the people who'd be guiding you through the program if you enrol.
On-the-Spot Application Support — If you decide to apply on the day, we'll walk you through it in the room. There's a small incentive for in-room applications — we'll share details when you arrive.
What it isn't
It's not a sales pitch. It's not a webinar streamed to your phone. It's not a generic info session you sit through and leave with a brochure.
It's a working session. You leave with a decision, or with the exact information you need to make one.
Why the room is capped
Three reasons:
The Lagos office only fits so many people. Be early on the list.
Quality of conversation drops the moment a room becomes a crowd. We protect the room.
We prioritise serious applicants — people close to a decision on the Karatu 2026 cohort. If you're early in your research, you'll get more value from later Open Houses.
Register to attend.
We review requests in the order they come in. Expect to hear back within 48 hours.
