Slash (YC S21) x Warp Waterloo Poker Night
Slash has always had special ties to Waterloo and Canada. Today, UW is the most represented school at the company and Kevin, our Co-Founder & CTO, was part of the engineering class that started in 2019 before dropping out in 2020 to start Slash.
We will be attending Waterloo Tech Week and Hack The North and are hosting the best event of the week - an evening of poker, drinks, food and great conversations. Come join us and meet a mix of standout Waterloo interns, alumni, friends of Slash, and other exceptional people visiting Waterloo for an event-packed weekend.
This will also be a chance to meet the Slash team and learn about our co-op as well as new grad opportunities.
Founded in 2021 by UW and Stanford dropouts, Slash has rapidly become one of the fastest-growing fintech companies globally, facilitating over $3 billion in annual business purchases across a variety of industries. Recently, Slash secured $41 million in Series B funding, bringing its valuation to $370 million. The company is backed by top-tier investors, including Menlo Ventures, NEA, Y Combinator, Stanford University, and the founders of Tinder and Plaid.
