Foundational Wellbeing: Practical Tools to "Unclench" Your Nervous System
Join us for a free workshop where we'll explore the philosophy of foundational wellbeing, and how unclenching might just be the secret unlock to more calm, resilience, and more aliveness.
In this session, you’ll explore:
What we mean by "foundational wellbeing" and "unclenching", and why we believe it's the bedrock of human thriving.
How nervous system literacy opens the door to resilience, connection, and emotional depth.
The power of creating more space between stimulus and response, to reduce our reactions and experience more choice.
Practical, science-backed tools to regulate your nervous system and feel more safe, calm, and alive.
Why Unclenching?
Yes, I know it sounds strange, but it turns out that the majority of human suffering (anxiety, self-criticism, procrastination, emotional outbursts, etc.) is a result of subtle clenching patterns in the body.
I'm aware that this is a bold claim, but it is one that experienced meditators have known for over two thousand years, and unfortunately, the mainstream conversation typically focuses on 'mindfulness' and 'being present,' which is something entirely different (and less helpful in my opinion).
There are a couple of reasons why it's hard to learn how to unclench — firstly, because there's no objective or measurable feedback, and secondly because unclenching — like sleep — isn't something that we 'do' (in fact, trying to force it makes it worse) but rather it's something that we create the appropriate conditions for.
Who’s it for?
This workshop is for anyone curious about new ways of approaching wellbeing.
Whether you want to feel more grounded in your own life or learn new tools for supporting others.
This workshop is part of a free workshop series, offered by Jonny Miller and Nervous System Mastery—5-week online bootcamp to build calm, clarity, and resilience from the inside out.
