Design for Change: AI, Leadership & Integrations
“Let go of the idea of reaching the destination and instead design to always be in motion”
Join us as we tackle change in Swedish IT. An evening exploring how to design your organization for an AI-augmented world where leadership, structure, and execution evolve together.
We’ll challenge common beliefs like cloud strategies, vendor lock-in, build vs. buy, and developer experience. Share practical patterns how to decommission legacy safely, modernize incrementally, and ship faster without trading away security or budget.
You’ll leave with:
How to navigate and drive change in your organisation
Patterns & anti-patterns in today's IT trends

The AI Divide Is Here
Companies have poured millions into AI, cloud, and automation—yet impact lags. Productivity is flat, speed sluggish, while leaner rivals ship faster and hire better. In AI-augmented work, the real differentiator is human systems: designing AI-enabled workflows, linking business context to technical execution, and building adaptive operating models. The barrier isn’t tools or talent—it’s leadership. Too many still manage for control, predictability, and compliance instead of capability, adaptability, and creativity. The result is a widening performance gap. Join Lars Barkman to explore how modern leaders redesign structure, cadence, and execution so AI multiplies their best people rather than becoming the next sunk cost—focusing on the operating patterns that turn AI into durable advantage.

Modern Integration Architecture
All organizations have a certain amount of chaos in its IT landscape. If they don’t, it is just a question of when. It’s a mix of legacy, one or more monoliths, numerous microservices and a whole set of external services which can’t be changed. Björn will walk you through how to create some order in this world of chaos, or at least some of it. How to make room for new technologies and ways to slowly get rid of the old. We will also show where event-driven architecture and streaming data fits into this.
Speaker: Björn Löfroth
Designing Data Platforms that enable AI and scale
In an AI-augmented world, organizations need data platforms that can scale flexibly while keeping costs under control. Apache Kafka® is a cornerstone for streaming data, but traditional broker-based storage can become expensive and hard to scale. In this session, Guilherme explores an alternative that enables teams to optimize costs, lengthen data retention, and simplify scaling, without trading away performance or security.
Speaker: Guilherme Caminha
