Breaking Out of the Fundraising Time Trap: Take Back Your Priorities (and Your Sanity)
Highly productive people typically take a lot of pride in how they manage and use their time, and how much they can get done. But for most of us, the focus on time management rarely is fulfilling and most often leads to still feeling that we didn’t accomplish what we set out to do.
That’s because we are likely thinking about time in a very limited and dysfunctional way. Based in part on the recent book 4000 Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman, this session will outline our limiting misunderstandings about time and propose more holistic, rational, and satisfying approaches to managing near-impossible expectations.
This conversation will especially resonate with entrepreneurs and small business owners in Santa Fe who are juggling competing demands and striving to make the most of their time and energy—including those raising capital or navigating the complexities of financing.
Join Andrew Cohn for an interesting, unusual, and practical conversation about how we think and feel about time—and how we can be both more fulfilled and more productive.
