Orange Street Walking Club - 12/22/2024 Meet-Up
Welcome to the Orange Street Walking Club!
Looking for a good excuse to get outside, stretch your legs, and maybe feel just a little better about the world?
You’ve found it.
The Orange Street Walking Club started as a way to honor our mom. After her first round of treatment for a rare cancer called Ocular Melanoma, she turned her energy into organizing walks and exercise classes to support rare cancer research. Staying active and building community were her superpowers, so we’re keeping that magic alive—with a laid-back twist.
Here’s the deal: we walk for about an hour. It’s casual, low-key, and no one’s judging your speed or step count. Whether you’re grieving, just need a reason to get outside, or want an alternative to another awkward run club invite, we’re your people.
We meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 10:00 AM in front of the International Baccalaureate Headquarters in NW DC.
Yes, dogs are welcome. Yes, strollers are totally cool. Yes, this is for everyone.
No pressure, no judgment, no running shoes required—just good vibes, great company, and maybe even a post-walk coffee.
