A Conversation on Education in Singapore
The results, the tuition, the stress. Most of us went through it. A lot of us are putting our kids through it. But ask what it’s actually for, and the answers get complicated fast.
Is it about getting ahead? Keeping up? Or something we’ve stopped questioning because it works... at least on paper?
In conjunction with our latest season release of 8pm conversations, a YouTube series where we host heavy topics on a light note over dinner, this session is about education in Singapore: what it’s doing to families, what it’s optimising for, and whether we’ve ever stopped to ask if that’s right.
A fishbowl is a live conversation, not a panel. An inner circle of selected anchor voices talk. Anyone from the outer ring can walk in and take a seat. Join the conversation, or just sit and listen. All who are interested in the topic are welcome.
