Tech+Biz4SickKids Founder Breakfast presented by RBCx
Join us for a special breakfast in support of #Tech+Biz4SickKids, proudly sponsored by RBCx. This gathering will bring together entrepreneurs, founders (calling all early stage to Series A founders), investors, and leaders across the Canadian startup ecosystem to explore how innovation can help transform child health.
SickKids is pioneering the future of pediatric care through Precision Child Health, leveraging cutting-edge science, technology, and data to deliver more personalized care and better outcomes for every child. The tech community has a unique opportunity to support this mission.
We will be joined by Dr. Azadeh Assadi, the lead Pediatric Cardiac Critical-Care Nurse Practitioner at SickKids. She holds a doctorate in human factors engineering from University of Toronto's Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. She is the lead human factors engineer for SickKids' AI and decision support committee as well as the clinical co-lead of the RED project, which aims to leverage AI to predict patient deterioration in the ICU.
We’ll discuss how founders and early-stage teams can pledge a portion of their equity, ensuring any upside of future equity at exit helps fund the next generation’s health and well-being.
Let’s turn innovation into meaningful change—together.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be going to the SickKids Foundation.
