About Event
This Juneteenth, Black Girl Environmentalist presents 'BGE in Action'. A digital space to learn from black women and non binary professionals in the environmental and climate field.
This conversation will be between you, Dr. Beronda Montgomery (Author of When Trees Testify: Science, Wisdom, History, and America’s Black Botanical Legacy), and Taeya Boi-Doku (Archivist, Environmentalist, BGE Hazel M. Johnson 2025 Fellow).
Join us as we talk early careers in this field of study as well as black botanical histories pertaining to our legacy. It is recommended to read the first two chapters of the book, but not required.
All are welcomed to RSVP!
