Marius Ciocirlan, based in Seattle, is a product leader, entrepreneur and angel investor. He designed the first Groupon apps, achieving 100M+ downloads. Marius founded several ventures, with the latest being ShareGrid—a VC-backed two-sided rental marketplace where over 200K users rent out more than $1B in production equipment. ShareGrid was acquired by Backstage in 2021. Up until 2024, Marius was the Managing Director at Techstars Seattle, investing in 36 companies.

He serves as Head of Activate Product and Engineering at AWS (AWS Startup Program) and oversees the development of cloud products and programs that help other startups build on AWS.
