Stories We Swap: Where stories meet connection — and every book finds a new home
Join Kindred Curiosity and author Amanda Sung for an afternoon of connection, storytelling, and shared surprises through books and community.
Stories We Swap invites you to bring a “book blind date” — a wrapped book that means something to you. During the event, guests will take turns selecting a wrapped book in the order of their arrival, discovering new stories (and maybe new friends) along the way.
The gathering will include:
📚 A cozy mingling session — settle in with a drink or treat from Junbi Café’s menu as you connect and share stories.
💬 A live reading and reflection with Amanda Sung, author of How to Break a Girl.
🎁 A heartfelt Book Blind Date Swap — the highlight of the afternoon.
Expect a warm, welcoming space to slow down, sip matcha or coffee, and connect with others through stories that move us.
