About Event

Stress is part of being human. In small doses it can energise and motivate us, but when it becomes constant, it can disconnect us from ourselves, from others and from what truly matters.

This Stress Awareness Month, we’re inviting a different approach: what if, instead of pushing harder or judging ourselves for feeling overwhelmed, we chose to lead with love?

Not love as a feeling alone, but as a grounded practice choosing compassion, clarity and care. A conscious response to stress, rather than a reactive one.

In this session of The Pause Collective, we’ll gather in conversation to explore how leading with love for ourselves and for others can soften stress and build resilience. As always our approach is with curiosity and kindness.

We’ll explore the idea that love can be practical in rest, in saying no, in asking for help.

  • What would it mean to respond to stress with self-compassion instead of self-pressure?

  • How do we speak to ourselves during challenging moments?

  • Where might we need softer boundaries or clearer ones?

  • What practices help us feel safe and regulated?

We'll discuss gentle practices to support regulation:

  • Small daily resets for the nervous system

  • Moments of pause in busy days

  • Rituals that anchor steadiness

  • Reframing stress as information rather than failure

Nothing complex, just accessible ways to create space.

This is not a workshop it’s a reflective, discussion based gathering where all experiences are welcome. Whether you’re feeling energised, depleted, stretched, or steady, you’re invited to come exactly as you are.

Stress Awareness Month offers an opportunity not just to acknowledge stress, but to rethink our relationship with it.

What might change if we led with love instead?
