Beyond The Classroom 02 - Body & Space in today's Classroom
BTC 02 — Creative Coding Utrecht and Body.Scratch present: Body & Space in today's Classroom
For Who?
Tech & AI can be intimidating to use in the classroom.
We see many PO & VO educators miss out on simple and valuable tools to use with their students.
We’ve put together a series of 12 free active conversations and workshops, with local partners to help inspire and empower primary and secondary school educators, with hands-on solutions that respect the body and mental health of students in their 21st century learning journey.
Monthly theme: Body & Space in today's Classroom
This month’s topic is a rather overlooked one. Did you know that unplugged activities (cards & games, movement, tangible objects) have the largest effect of learning on Computer Science development*? Yet, we keep on letting our students sit all day and type, in order to learn. What classroom implementations have worked with evidence? What can we test out today? How can we maintain a playground for flourishing, without continuous chaos?
