Join us for a cozy, creativity-filled evening at Burden of Proof, South Pasadena’s beloved non-alcoholic bottle shop and market—home to LA’s largest selection of thoughtful, delicious NA beverages. Because choosing not to drink, for a night or for a lifetime, should feel just as fun, flavorful, and joy-filled.
We’ll begin with a gentle grounding exercise to help you settle into a calm, creative headspace before moving into handbuilding. Throughout the session, you’ll create ceramic pieces inspired by the sensory rituals that shape daily life—eating, sipping, hosting, and gathering. Check this out for inspiration!
Think:
• hand-shaped glassware
• playful candle or toothpick holders
• small serving trays
• colorful, joy-sparking objects that brighten your home and elevate the simple moments
While you create, you’ll also sip on non-alcoholic cocktails by Aplós, infused with functional ingredients (think: adaptogens, nootropics, lion’s mane) to help you unwind or uplift.
No experience is needed—just an openness to play, explore, and make something uniquely yours.
Your pieces will be glazed and fired after the workshop, ready for pickup a few weeks later. But you’ll leave with the satisfaction of having created something meaningful with your own two hands—plus the warm community energy that comes from making together in such a welcoming space.
