Geneva Loading… Bringing a Silicon Valley Perspective to the AI Summit 2027
In June 2027, Geneva hosts the AI Summit, following Bletchley Park, Seoul, Paris, and New Delhi. AI is being shaped in many places around the world, but few at the pace of the Bay Area, where many of the most advanced models are built, funded, and debated. Understanding it firsthand is key to having informed debate.
Geneva Loading…, a collaboration between Swissnex in San Francisco and Mercator Foundation Switzerland, prepares twelve Swiss AI experts to bring independent, grounded perspectives to the Summit. The program runs in three phases: a preparatory session in Switzerland, a week-long immersion in San Francisco in November 2026, and participation in Geneva in 2027.
On 30 September in Zurich, as part of the Zurich AI Festival, we open the program publicly. Swissnex San Francisco and the Mercator Foundation will introduce Geneva Loading… and the 12 selected participants. Arnaud Auger, Director at Cathay Innovation, will then share how these questions look from Silicon Valley. A panel will put that view in direct conversation with Swiss perspectives. The evening closes with networking and an apéro.
