​​​​​📎 About: Dr Giovanna Jaramillo-Gutierrez, FHCA, AIGP

Giovanna is a data scientist and AI policy researcher consultant. She is part of the EU team within the Center for AI and Digital Policy’s Policy Group (US) and serves as Research Team Lead at Arcadia Impact’s AI Governance Task Force in the UK, focusing on frontier AI risk management and incident monitoring. Beyond research, she teaches AI and data science at allWomen.tech and facilitates the Center for AI Safety’s ‘AI Safety: Ethics and Society’ course (US). She is a ForHumanity Certified Auditor (FHCA) for the EU AI Act and a Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP) with the IAPP. Previously, she spent more than a decade at the World Health Organization (WHO), leading outbreak analytics and surveillance during public health crises, including pandemic influenza, Ebola and COVID-19.
