Every child deserves to be loved, nurtured, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Our children deserve schools that see their brilliance, honor their humanity, and respond to their needs with care, not punishment.

But what happens when normal childhood behavior is treated like a crime?

, an Emmy Award-winning documentary directed by

The film exposes how the school-to-prison pipeline can begin with children as young as two years old, disproportionately harming Black and Brown children, especially those with disabilities. Through powerful personal stories and expert insights, we examine how systemic racism, implicit bias, and harsh disciplinary policies turn opportunities for learning and growth into punishment, exclusion, and criminalization.

Following the film, we'll come together for a community conversation about how parents, caregivers, educators, advocates, and neighbors can challenge harmful practices and build schools rooted in dignity, healing, belonging, and care.

Our children are not problems to be punished. They are full of potential, worthy of protection, and deserving of every opportunity to flourish.

Bring your family, friends, educators, and anyone who believes in a better future for our children.
