The audiences that shape biopharma company perception, including investors, analysts, journalists, patients, and regulators, are consuming information differently than they were even a few years ago, and biopharma companies are still figuring out what that means for their communications strategy. Press releases, regulatory disclosures, and earnings calls remain foundational, but they now exist alongside a growing mix of videos, podcasts, LinkedIn content, online investor forums, AI-generated summaries, and direct-to-audience channels that can shape market perception well beyond traditional media coverage.

This conversation examines what it takes to build communications strategies that hold up under investor scrutiny, not just during earnings season, but across every moment when perception is formed or lost. Bringing together perspectives from investor relations, business media, and corporate affairs, the panel will explore which formats and channels are earning credibility with investor and analyst audiences and how communicators are building influence in spaces traditionally held by IR and finance. The conversation will also explore where biopharma is adapting more slowly than peer industries, and how companies are navigating the pressure to break through amid market volatility, FDA uncertainty, and growing global competition.

Taking place midway through the conference, the discussion will also include a real-time pulse check on what’s standing out at JPM27 so far — from messaging trends to the formats, executives, and companies generating the most attention.
