We'll also cover two current funding opportunities for creators: the 

 our new $1 million initiative supporting creative projects across Art, Fashion, Film, and Music, and the 

 which supports eligible Scotland-based creators. We'll explain how these programs work, what they're looking for, and how to know if your project is ready to apply.

The Kickstarter Culture Fund is a $1 million fund supporting independent creators in Art, Fashion, Film, and Music through direct contributions to their Kickstarter crowdfunding campaigns. It's the first fund financed directly by Kickstarter and a cornerstone of the brand's Power of Belief campaign. The Culture Fund puts belief into action by backing ideas worth supporting and matching that belief with meaningful financial support. 

The Creative Scotland Forward Fund is a collaboration that connects Kickstarter’s dynamic Scotland-based creators with a powerful international audience, uplifting emerging talent and celebrating exceptional creative projects in film, comics, music, radio & podcasts, games, publishing, and design. The fund will provide creators with financial support and crowdfunding resources to help them reach a new sector of global supporters.
