The cheering squad your design career has been missing

Level Up Club / femke.design

Don't miss this live session with Julia Ysabela Fernandez (

), where you'll learn how to set up your Figma files so AI reads them correctly, and how to spot the places it's better off not helping. The goal? To build To know what AI is really doing in your file, and stay the one making the calls.

Most designers can create a good-looking screen. The real challenge starts when someone else picks it up: a developer, another designer, or an AI. Let's get our files ready for all three.

This session covers the decisions that keep files calm under pressure: variable structures that carry intent, components that map cleanly to code, states that are actually designed, and naming that communicates structure instead of hiding it. The kind of craft that makes you the person your team relies on.

, a learning platform focused on UI, Figma, and product building with AI, and the author of

, a practical guide to building digital products independently. Her work centres on cutting through technical overwhelm and helping people move from ideas to shipped products.

With over a decade of experience working with startups, agencies, and global brands across Berlin, Mexico City, and London, Christine brings a grounded, practice-led perspective to the stage. She speaks about design–dev collaboration and the growing shift toward independent builders in the age of AI without the hype, focusing on how digital products are made, which tools matter, and what it really takes to build on your own terms.
