Alcor

Join a private dinner in San Francisco for CTOs and engineering leaders, hosted by Alcor with a special guest – Neeraj Gupta, CTO of Pindrop. It's created specifically for venture-backed growth and late-stage, PE-backed, and pre-IPO, product companies with AI on the roadmap.

Neeraj runs engineering at a company whose job is telling real voices from fake ones, so he sees up close what AI is doing to trust. That's the tension on the table all evening: the same technology making your team faster is also making it harder to verify who you're hiring, harder to separate durable change from hype, and easier to cut the junior engineers who become your next seniors.

Three hours, thirty people, no panel. You leave with a sharper way to tell whether the engineer on the other end of the call is real, a shorter list of AI bets worth putting 2027 headcount behind, and an answer to where your next senior engineers come from while everyone else quietly stops hiring juniors.

Neeraj opens with his perspective, and then it's an open conversation. It's where you learn how to catch deepfakes, separate the AI changes worth betting on from the hype, and keep a senior pipeline alive while everyone else cuts juniors.

is hosting, and it helps US companies build fully owned, true in-house engineering teams in Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Attendance is complimentary, and with only thirty seats, it's worth requesting yours early.

Neeraj is CTO of Pindrop, the voice security and deepfake detection company trusted by 8 of the 10 largest US banks. TIME named Pindrop one of the 10 Most Influential Software Companies of 2026, and its Pulse for Meetings product one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2025. Neeraj is a hands-on technology executive with 25+ years of experience; he has built and led engineering, product, data, and ML organizations of 300+ people, turning business goals into product strategy, roadmaps, and execution. His expertise spans cloud, security, machine learning, and infrastructure, and he has set up R&D centers abroad and integrated acquired teams along the way. He is also a founding member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and the Open Container Initiative (OCI).

builds and runs true in-house engineering teams in Latin America and Eastern Europe for venture-backed growth and late-stage, PE-backed, pre-IPO and public product companies, including:

Their backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Insight Partners, IVP, CapitalG, ICONIQ, Lightspeed, and Union Square Ventures.

Alcor covers everything a remote engineering hub needs – recruiting, employment, payroll, compliance, and local operations – with no entity to set up. Clients keep full ownership of that engineering team and the IP and run 30–50% more cost-efficiently than with equivalent US hiring.
