Future Narratives Lab

To ensure this course can reach as many people as possible, we are now running two sessions on 3rd Nov. This is the 12:30 GMT session; you can find the other session here:

Campaigns and coalitions working to build influence on social issues have to confront an inherent challenge: how to balance strategies that can engage mass publics and build popular legitimacy, with those that speak to and engage elite audiences, closer to political decision-making? This is only heightened as technological change continues to fracture and disrupt the media landscape.

In this workshop, Future Narratives Lab will explore a framework for civil society to build more integrated influence strategies, with clear roles for publics, elites and media, and the relationship between each, enabling more efficient and coordinated campaigns and communications, flexible enough to adapt to the rapidly changing attention economy.

The session will be led by Future Narratives Lab Executive Director Daniel Stanley, and include a conversation between an expert Guest Speaker and FNL Strategy Director Sarah Stein Lubrano.

This is the second in a series of free online workshops:

Using Narrative to Build Powerful Coalitions

Future Narratives Lab is a non-profit research & development institute. We work with partners tackling complex issues to build their power & political influence with narrative.
