Build defences against AI enabled threats

Join us on our local site for the global Defensive Acceleration Hackathon (BlueDot Impact + Apart Research). Join builders from around the world working to prototype defensive systems against AI-enabled biosecurity and cybersecurity threats.

 Automated tools discover vulnerabilities faster than humans can patch them. AI is expanding the attack surface while defensive infrastructure struggles to keep pace. This weekend is about building systems that help defenders catch up.

You don't need domain expertise in biosecurity or cybersecurity – just technical skills, the ability to build quickly, and conviction that strengthening defensive technology matters.

This is a required two-step process to join the local hub and the global competition.

AISS is an initiative led by students from Saarland University passionate to drive change and make AI go well. We want to foster interdisciplinary exchange, education, and research addressing large-scale risks from AI development and deployment at Saarland University and beyond.
