Venture Forward’s Emerging Manager Power Hour: Q2 Session

Emerging Manager Power Hours (EMPH) returns for our Q2 session on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET.

This virtual program connects emerging fund managers with seasoned industry leaders through candid, small-group conversations. Each one-hour session provides direct access to experts—LPs and GPs—who share practical insights on fundraising, fund management, and fund operations.

For this session, we’re excited to welcome Nnamdi Okike, NVCA Board Member and Co-Founder and Managing Partner at 645 Ventures, who will host an open Ask Me Anything. Attendees will guide the discussion, with Nnamdi offering candid perspectives from his experience as an investor backing and scaling category-defining technology companies.

Session topics may cover:

  • Fundraising and pitch strategies that resonate with LPs

  • Building and managing long-term LP relationships

  • Earning trust and visibility with institutional investors

  • Signaling progress and capability to prospective LPs

  • Best practices for hosting an impactful AGM

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must be a general partner at a VC Fund 2, 3, or 4

  • You must be U.S.-based and investing in U.S.-based companies

  • Audience: 25 US-based GPs currently raising or managing Funds I-II will be selected to participate. NVCA members who meet this criteria and sign up will receive priority access.
