Mathew Zungu - Senior Solutions Consultant, Inspired Testing
About this talk
Tricentis Tosca promises automation without scripting, but "codeless" doesn't mean "effortless" and "brainless". In the session, Mathew unpacks
what model-based test automation really is,
how Tosca's approach of separating modules (the what) from test cases (the how) differs from script-based tools, and
where that model genuinely pays off versus where it quietly creates new kinds of maintenance debt.
Mathew will also share a frank rundown of the pitfalls teams hit in their first six months, and
a few opinions on when Tosca is the right tool and when it isn't
as well as some complex architecture framework based on Tosca best practice.
This session is suitable for all testers and QA leads evaluating or already using Tosca.
20:05 – 20:45: SESSION 3: The Journey of Stakeholder Management: Should We Lose or Use Governance?
