Design Coaching - Having A Secret Champion

​Coaching is a fairly new industry let alone ‘Design Coaching’ so what is it + why is it useful for a product designer in all parts of their career?

​Kate is a Design Coach on a mission to unblock as many Product Designers through re-connection with their intuition and re-awakening a ‘permission to be’, so that designers increase their self-awareness, confidence and ultimately their product impact.

​She does this through her 3 step framework ‘Reality Prototyping©’ which has proven to increase Product Designers income and influence in their teams. Kate has coached over a 100 designers from companies like Google, Figma and IDEO.

​She has taught at UAL, HyperIsland and Memorisely. She worked as a Product Designer for over 10 years with brands like Facebook, Ustwo, Barclays and Pentagram. Kate thrives with one foot in the industry helping Climate Crisis focussed projects like Mattereum and one foot in coaching designers through her program ‘Reality Prototyping©’.
