Regen Green Action – Working With Nature in Nature - KFF Community in Action
Spend an afternoon on the day before Katapult Future Fest opens at a working laboratory for nature-inclusive urban development, where former farmland and business areas near Schiphol are being transformed into thriving ecological and community spaces — and where regeneration happens through doing, not discussing.
Tuesday May 26 · 14:00–17:30 New Terra, Dreamstreet 11, Hoofddorp
Hosted at New Terra together with Stichting MEERGroen and MoreTreesNow, this interactive experience takes participants directly into one of the Netherlands' most active urban regeneration sites. It's not a panel and not a tour — it's an afternoon of working with nature in nature alongside a community that has been rescuing and replanting trees, restoring soil, and reconnecting people with ecosystems across Europe for years.
Together we'll move through hands-on activities that demonstrate how nature-inclusive business parks and urban developments can increase biodiversity, cooling, food resilience, and social connection — even in highly built-up environments. Expect outdoor work, regenerative storytelling, shared food and drinks, and the kind of conversations that only happen when your hands are already in the soil.
A perfect pre-festival anchor for anyone arriving early ahead of Investor Day on May 27 and the festival at Ruigoord on May 28–29. Come for the trees, stay for the future-focused conversations and connections.
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES (Free)

YOUR HOSTS Grant Holton and the team at Stichting MEERGroen / MoreTreesNow / MeerbomenNU — working with thousands of volunteers across Europe to rescue and replant trees, restore ecosystems, and reconnect people with nature. Hosted on site at New Terra in Hoofddorp.
