About Event

Join us for a free, insightful virtual workshop designed to introduce a powerful and accessible new approach to managing the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.

We're honored to welcome special guest, JoJo McDuffie, a highly respected coach and leader from Rock Steady Boxing, who will join Seven Movements founders, Dan & John, to discuss the transformative power of "movement snacking."

What You'll Discover in This Workshop:

  • What is Movement Snacking? We'll explain this simple concept of using short, 7-minute doses of intentional movement to break up your day, rather than feeling pressured to commit to long, exhausting workouts.

  • A Gentle Path to Consistency: Learn how to get started and build a new, sustainable movement habit that's focused on consistency, not perfection. This low-barrier approach is perfect for weaving more activity into your daily routine.

  • The Benefits for Parkinson's: JoJo and Dan will discuss how movement snacking can provide the consistent stimulation that research suggests may help with symptoms like balance, stiffness, and cognitive function.

  • Simple, Accessible Movement: We'll demonstrate easy, accessible movements you can do anywhere, anytime, without any special equipment.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to take a proactive step in managing their Parkinson's symptoms, build confidence, and discover a new way to move that is both effective and empowering.

Special Guest: JoJo McDuffie is a Certified Strength Coach and a key figure at Rock Steady Boxing, an organization dedicated to fighting Parkinson's disease through non-contact boxing. He has been training athletes with Parkinson's since 2016 and is passionate about the belief that "movement is medicine."
