​As Chief Digital Officer and Head of IT for the City of Munich, Laura Dornheim leads the digital transformation of Bavaria’s largest municipality. She oversees the city’s IT infrastructure, manages a 1,400-person IT organization, and drives projects ranging from administrative digitalization to the use of AI in public services.

​By working at the intersection of technology, public administration, and digital participation, Laura brings a distinctive perspective on how cities can remain both innovative and citizen-oriented in the digital age.
