Work in Progress – Community & Conversations for Career Changers
Career change can feel lonely. Let’s fix that.
Maybe you’re thinking about leaving a job, you’re in between roles, or you’re starting your own project. Whatever the situation, transitions can be tough, and it’s not always easy to talk about with friends who aren’t in the same boat.
That’s why we’re starting Work in Progress: a small, supportive meetup where you can connect with people in similar situations, share openly, and walk away with fresh perspectives.
We’ll meet in the park (weather permitting) for this first edition. The group is limited to 10 people, so everyone gets space to be heard. Conversations will be lightly guided by a certified coach, with guidelines to keep things respectful, inclusive, and judgment-free.

Ideas of what you could share and discuss with the group:
I’m thinking about quitting my job but have never done it before, and I’m scared and curious about how other did it
I’m considering changing careers from domain X to domain Y and I’d love to hear from people with experience in Y
I’ve always been interested in doing X, but I can think of 15 reasons why it’s not a good idea, so I never try. How do I overcome this?
We’ll bring some vegan picnic snacks to share. The €5 contribution helps cover this and ensures those who sign up are committed to attending. Just bring a blanket to sit on and your own drink.
When you register, we’ll ask what you’re struggling with and what kind of help you’d like, so you can think ahead and get the most out of the meetup.

Andra is a certified coach, psychologist in training and former tech-worker, now helping ambitious professional navigate career change. She’s been building communities for 10+ years and is always curious to hear what’s really going on for others.
Vidhi has over 10 years’ experience in design and management and is currently navigating a career transition. Building this community is a personal mission, inspired by a passion for creating spaces where people can share openly, feel supported, and move forward together.
