Speaker:

Liam Schwartz

Head of Relocation Practice, Goldfarb Gross Seligman

Liam’s work focuses on assisting Israeli startups successfully relocate executives, managers, and other key personnel to the U.S. on work visas. His visa practice is concentrated on the L-1 intercompany transferee visa, the two “E” work visas (E-1 trade and E-2 investment), and the O-1 extraordinary ability visa.

Liam continues to advise clients after their relocation, on critical issues such as USCIS site visits, work-from-home best practices, and preparing for successful extensions of work visas. For those clients considering long-term stays in the United States, Liam’s practice includes Green Card requests for company executives and managers.

Liam also works with complex individual visa cases involving inadmissibility to the U.S. due to past criminal convictions, such as white-collar crimes, or immigration violations, such as overstays and unauthorized employment.

Liam has served in leadership positions for the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has received national awards for excellence in the field. A member of the bars in Israel and N.Y., Liam was raised in Tenafly, N.J.
